How Many Post Credit Scenes In Aquaman 2

How many Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom post-credits scenes are there?

The only post-credits scene in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom occurs in the middle of the credits. Basically, you have to stay until the first stylized credits featuring the cast members’ names have rolled.

Theres nothing at the end of the credits, either. With the Aquaman 2 post-credits, unlike many other MCU and DCEU films, it’s a one-and-done deal.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom post-credits scene, explained *SPOILERS*

Before continuing, make sure you’ve seen Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom because we’re about to get spoilery.

Remaining here? Then you should be aware that this post-credits scene from Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom differs slightly from previous ones in the DCEU. In contrast to the Black Adam post-credits scene, which hinted at Henry Cavill’s (brief) comeback as Superman, Aquaman 2 concludes with a joke.

In the follow-up Aquaman film, Patrick Wilson’s character Arthur was reunited with his brother Orm, making up for lost time. But there’s one sticking point: Orm hates the surface world. Arthur, who is not too happy about this, informs him that he is losing out on the finer things in life, such as beer and hamburgers, because of his narrow-mindedness. He then decides to take on the role of Orm’s guide, teaching him new foods and everything about humanity in the process.

However, Aquaman clearly can’t resist a small prank either. He tells Orm that cockroaches are a common food source on land when he comes across one. Orm of course believes him and swiftly eats up.

In the scene after the credits, Orm is shown at last indulging in the burger his brother had told him about. However, he crushes any cockroaches that crawl onto the table and adds them to the burger. Orm smiles as he consumes it, obviously happy with his newfound appreciation for human food.

It’s not anything that will affect the DC universe in the future—rather, it’s just a small joke to wrap up the film. This makes a lot of sense considering that the movie signifies the conclusion of the DCEU, which got its start with Man of Steel back in 2013. As Aquaman and Gunn’s DCU Chapter One plan reboots every major character we’ve met so far, Momoa isn’t sure he’ll be back.

All of this suggests that a cliffhanger ending or hints at a future that will canonically take place on a different timeline than this one would have been a little strange. Still, we wouldn’t be telling the truth if we didn’t hope for a tease at what’s coming up next.
